Who’s TalkN? I am. You are. We are.

Who is I? No one in particular, but those of us below will serve as the family hosts if that helps you. Although, we are a very small immediate family, we have a grand family that includes both blood & chosen relations. From time to time, we will feature them as “experts” because we can’t cover it all.

Host Husband & Father:
I am a husband, I am a father, a believer in the music of life, and most importantly a child of God. I love life and I love those I choose to spend my nights and days with.  My family is the key to my sanity even though I act crazy around them. I have been humbled by the experiences of life and educated on what it truly means to love.  Wisdom is not wasted on me as I attempt to learn what it takes to make sure that my family is secure on a regular & consistent basis.

Host Wife & Mother:
I am a wife and mother who often times gets frustrated because of all of the responsibilities of life. I love my family with everything I have and would give my life for them. I take my responsibilities and blessings VERY, VERY seriously, but my men have a way of loosening me up. I enjoy my life because I have a family who encourages me, even when they don’t know it. I am also very very weird or so I’ve been told.

Host Son:
I am my parent’s son. They are the best mom & dad that I’ve ever had. Keep that in mind as I insert my wisdom from time to time. Don’t trust my mom – she often makes up crazy stories about me just for laughs. My dad is the most awesome person I know until he … well, takes moms side. Feel free to bribe me with gum, gummies, and “or-deos”.

Host Baller:

“Always keep an open mind and a compassionate heart”- Phil Jackson

This quote caught my attention when I first read it. Not only is it a great quote to live by, it comes from a NBA coaching legend. It fits perfectly! Welcome to TableTalkN! I am a current student and basketball enthusiast. I have followed basketball nearly my entire life. I credit my grandfather for that.  Watching games with him and discussing all the latest basketball news. Since then, I’ve studied the history of the game. I have learned about so many great players of different eras.  I am a quiet person, but I can talk basketball for hours. Another interest I have is writing. I combined both interests and decided to write about basketball related topics. I look forward to getting better and progressing as blogger.

Host Stylist:

Currently working as the Artistic Lead Designer at The Salon by InStyle, located in JCPenney, I enjoy the art and challenge of transformation when it comes to hair.  I have become a skilled colorist and I am able to work on different types of hair and individuals. Cutting and styling hair, along with  working with Hair Extensions has  lead me to increasing my knowledge base, which in turn has enabled me to have a  growing clientele, as I offer a variety of services. Being a “Artisan Hair Designer” doesn’t come without challenges, but I face those challenges with welcomed arms and optimistic enthusiasm.  As I look forward to learning and growing in my own personal journey, I relish this opportunity to share my past experiences and achievements with all who will listen.

Host Baker:

Welcome to The Confection Corner.  I have a passion for baking and hope you will see this passion as you learn more about me and read my blog. I have always loved to bake and trying out new recipes.
I started baking because I found it to be relaxing and it was something fun for me to do in my spare time. About a year and a half ago, after several of my friends and family had enjoyed the many sweet treats I had made for them over the years, I began to hear the same suggestion and encouragement repeated from those closest to me. After a bit of thought and soul searching, I decided it was time to start my business.  My business officially became a reality when a very good friend asked me to bake her wedding cake. Now I am a full-fledged business, baking all kinds of delectable treats for all sorts
of events; from weddings to kids parties to office events. Call me for your next event and let me add a sweet element to your next gathering.
Host Sister:
I’m a wife and mother but I’m me first if that makes any sense what so ever. I consider myself a jack of all trades and master of none but willing to do and try it all. My family and close friends are the joys of my life and the things I’m able to create or build with my hands keeps me sane. I’m accepting of my strengths and weaknesses and use my strengths when and whenever I can. One of my weaknesses is I keep a lot of things bottled up inside so that’s one of the main reasons I chose to blog… to release and give my brain a break.
